Early Spring in Rome.They had survived the terrifying war. The trees were beginning to blossom,the early flowers bursting with color.Not withstanding the great losses they had all sustained,the exhilaration of survival was great; they could plan for life. Doors seemed to be opening for them.

This has been the question asked over and over,as the Jewish people have been forced to flee the many countries they have been uprooted and expelled from since the destruction of The Holy Temple in Jerusalem r two thousand years ago.The wandering Jew, fleeing and surviving, rather than capitulating, is representative of all their wanderings throughout history.
