The Klausenberger Rebbe
A hero, a righteous man, an angel. That was The Klausenberger Rebbe. He suffered immeasurable tragedy during the years of the Holocaust. His wife and eleven children were murdered in concentration camps. He is remembered as always helping others, not only during the years of the war, but in the D.P. camps after the war. The survivors were trying to put together the fragments of their lives and he helped them determine who, from their families, from their friends, from their villages, towns and cities, survived, so that they would be able to go on, to marry and build families anew. The family is the cornerstone of the Jewish people. This kind Rabbi, who lost everything and everyone, a descendant of noble Chassidim, a man of great wisdom and knowledge, was there helping them and comforting them in their sorrow. He went on to rebuild a home and a family and to build communities, schools and a hospital in Israel. That is the secret of Jewish survival through two millennia of torment and persecution.

A Moment of Peace 2
Some, despite their efforts to find some peace and equilibrium in their lives, cannot find it. The expanse of endless sky blending into the horizon over rippling water can provide that moment of peace, that moment when one can reach out to G-d in their own words; words that become words of prayer, sometimes more pure and more meaningful. These words can reach the heavens through their simplicity and their honesty.
A Portrait
One and a half million children perished in the Holocaust. A handful survived, among them this child. Awakening, her innocent, sleepy face disguises the five long years of captivity and threat to life and soul. She is the hope of the future and a testament to the failed attempt to annihilate a people
